SAN BERNARDINO – A 29-year-old San Bernardino man was arrested on numerous charges Thursday morning. At around 8:12 a.m. deputies from the Central station responded to the report of a man with a large gun at a mobile home park on the 4000 block of Mountain Avenue. The report indicated that the man put the gun into his truck and was wiping down his vehicle.
The deputy arrived and attempted to make contact with the man, later identified as Markeith Terrell. The deputy explained why he was there and asked for his cooperation. Terrell refused the commands and began fighting. Two additional deputies arrived to provide backup and Terrell also began fighting with them pushing one of the deputies to the ground.
Terrell was taken into custody and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for resisting arrest, and assault on a peace officer. An AR-15 airsoft gun was located in the vehicle trunk along with drug paraphernalia.
