SAN BERNARDINO – Deputies are investigating the motive behind a stabbing in San Bernardino on Wednesday night.
At around 8:54 p.m. deputies responded the St. Bernardine Medical Center for the report of a man suffering from two non-life-threatening stab wounds to his back. When they arrived they learned that the victim and his girlfriend were walking on Tippecanoe Avenue, south of Pacific Street when Frank Puga, the girlfriend’s 29-year-old brother stabbed him in the back with an unknown object.
Puga was arrested while at his home and was booked into the Central Detention Center for Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He is being held in lieu of $50,000.
