BRYANT, Ark. – A school police dog made the grade this year, also making it into the staff section of the Bryant High School Yearbook.

Mya, a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois trained as drug detection dog but also tracks the scent of people who are missing or wanted. Mya has been working hard and making plenty of friends at the school while working with her handler. She was apparently pleased to be in the yearbook this year based on her ear-to-ear grin.

“So it looks like one of Bryant PD’s finest School Resource Officers made the Hornet Yearbook this year,” Bryant Police officials posted on social media. “Good job Mya, you are representing the PD with pride, Mya.

Mya also has an Instagram page, which is nearing 1000 followers. If you would like to follow Mya on Instagram search: mya_hornetk9
