CORCORAN, Ca. – The second of the two inmates physically assaulted by an inmate at the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison, Corcoran (SATF) has died.
The incident took place on January 16, 2020, when prison correctional officers were made aware that Jonathan Watson, 41, who was serving life for first-degree murder, was attacking two inmates in Facility A. Both victims sustained major head injuries as a result of the attack. Officers aided to two inmates until medical personnel arrived to continue life-saving measures while the ambulances were en route. The injured inmates were rushed to the hospital. David Bobb, 48, who was serving life for a conviction for aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14 years old died on the way to the hospital.
Graham De Luis-Conti, 62, was pronounced dead on January 19, 2020 at an area hospital. De Luis-Conti was serving lift in prison for the aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14 years old.
The deaths are being investigated as homicides.
