VICTORVILLE, Ca. – A registered sex offender was arrested for harrassing a juvenile walking home from school on Wednesday.
On September 18, 2019, deputies responded to the report of a male subject annoying and/or molesting a child. When they arrived they learned that the 16-year-old boy was walking to his friend’s home near 7th and Victor Streets in the City of Victorville when he noticed he was being followed. The suspect, later identified as Adam Armando Moreno, 25, of Victorville, made sexual comments to the teen, even attempting to grab the victim’s penis several times.
The victim told him to stop as he walked to his friend’s home and Moreno continued to follow and harass him until he got to his friend’s home and went inside. Moreno is a sex offender convicted of possessing obscene matter depicting a minor in sexual conduct and indecent exposure. He has violated his parole at least three times, per San Bernardino County court records.
Moreno’s last reported address is in the 14400 block of Moon Valley Road in the City of Victorville per Megan’s Law Sex Registration records. He was booked at the High Desert Detention Center for annoying/molesting a child and violating parole. He is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on September 20, 2019.
During the investigation, it was learned that there may be additional victims that have not come forward.
