UPDATE (10:00 p.m.): The family of Quinten Henry confirmed that he was found and is now home safe. “My nephew was found safe, thank you to everyone for the help,” said Quinten’s aunt in a public Facebook post. She did not share further information about where he was located or the circumstances surrounding the incident.

VICTORVILLE – The Victorville family is distraught, attempting to located 7-year-old Quinten Henry, also known as D.J.
According to his family, Quinten was last seen in the 14200 block of Rodeo Drive in the City of Victorville at around 4:00 p.m. Quinten was on his way home to a nearby apartment complex, but never arrived. Area children described a man offering children candy in the area of the bus stop at around the same time, but the claim is yet to be substantiated. The man was described as a White male transient with no shirt on and dark-colored shorts.
Sheriff’s officials have no information to offer, but the Sheriff’s helicopter, 40-king continues to make PA Announcements over an area apartment complex at 9:25 p.m. describing the missing child. His family continues to search for him at the apartment complex, the nearby park, and the surrounding area.
Quenten was wearing burgundy pants, a burgundy and black plaid t-shirt, and a blue backpack. Anyone who sees Quinten should call Sheriff’s Dispatch at (760) 956-5001 or 911.
