VICTORVILLE, Ca. – A Spring Valley Lake man was arrested after refusing to leave his ex-girlfriend’s home on Sunday morning.
At around 6:22 a.m.deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to 9125 Del Rosa Road in the county area of Victorville for the report of a man refusing to leave a home. Huthifa Ayad Abdul Salam, 20, of Spring Valley Lake, according to authorities, was at the home attempting to speak with his girlfriend who had recently broke up with him.
When the deputy arrived, he noticed Abdulsalem and the woman near the back of a grey sedan talking. Abdulsalam noticed the deputy and walked to the passenger side of the vehicle, squatted down, and placed something near the back tire. The deputy detained Abdulsalam and looked in the area where he saw an item being placed. A loaded handgun was located near the back tire.
Abdulsalam was arrested without incident for being in possession of a loaded firearm. He was booked at High Desert Detention Center in lieu of $25,000.00 bail. He is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Tuesday, February 25. 2020.
