FONTANA – A man known to loiter around Summit High School is suspected of molesting a 15-year-old student, and forcibly touching and kissing other female victims.
The suspect lied about his age to a 15-year-old female student of Summit High School and coerced her into having sex at a Fontana Park. Fontana Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force was made aware of the incident after the suspect identified as, 20-year-old, Jerrell Resnick of Fontana sent images of his genitals to the victim through social media. Investigators took over the victim’s social media account and arranged for another sexual encounter with the suspect.
On January 17, 2017, the suspect arrived at the designated meeting place to have a sexual encounter, but this time he was met with special investigators and arrested by the Fontana Police Department Detectives. Resnick recently has been asked to leave Summit High School grounds for loitering and he also loitered at the Jessie Turner Center where again he was asked to leave. Fontana School Police have located more victims of Resnick. These female students all made statements that Resnick followed them and forcibly kissed and touched them. Resnick was transported and booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.
