Suspect Involved in Victorville Stabbing Remains At Large

VICTORVILLE – A 24-year-old male was stabbed with a sword during a fight in the 12300 block of Bridgewood Lane in the City of Victorville on Wednesday afternoon.

At around 1:15 p.m. Victorville Police responded to the home. In the backyard they located the victim suffering from stab wounds to his chest. He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. “Through investigation, deputies learned the victim had been involved in a fight with a white male at the location,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Station Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.  “The fight escalated and the suspect stabbed the victim with a sword. After stabbing the victim, the suspect left the location, possibly in a white pickup truck.”

Deputies searched the area to no avail. No suspect has been identified by authorities and no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Detective M.
