TEMECULA, Calif. – A motorcycle deputy was injured while attempting to detain a wanted person.
Temecula station deputies located a suspect wanted for firearms, stalking, and other related charges near Wolf Creek Park on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at around 2:20 p,m. Authorities said that while attempting to detail the suspect, a traffic collision between the motor officer and suspect occurred.
The suspect was detained and was transported to the hospital. The motorcycle deputy was also taken to the hospital, both with non-life-threatening injuries. No other information is available for release at this time.
