ADELANTO, Calif. – Two men and one woman, were arrested in the City of Adelanto for the possession of drugs for sale, washed checks, and burglary tools.
On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at around 4:23 p.m. deputies from the Victor Valley Station stopped a gray 2006 Toyota Corolla for vehicle code violations near Palmdale and Verbena Roads. The deputies made contact with David Olivo, 28, of Victorville, who was found to be on Post Release Community Supervision (PRSC). The two passengers, Sierra Gabrielle Forst, 20, a transient, and Jose Quintero, 35, of Adelanto, were in possession of methamphetamine.
Deputies searched the vehicle and located two firearms, ammunition, items consistent with the sales of drugs, and 1.2 pounds of suspected methamphetamine. Both Quintero and Olico are convicted felons and are prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition. The two are also documented gang members, officials said. As deputies continued to search the vehicle, washed and altered personal checks and shaved keys were located. “Many of the checks originated out of the Spring Valley Lake Community in Victorville,” Victor Valley Sheriff officials said.
All of the suspects were booked into the High Desert Detention Center. Forst and Quintero are being held in lieu of $50,000 bail and Olivo is being held without bail.
