HESPERIA – A Hesperia man and woman were arrested after being caught by a deputy as they ran from a home they had just burglarized.
On Friday, June 8, 2018, at around 8:30 p.m. deputies responded to the 8800 block of Seventh Avenue for the report of suspicious activity. When the deputy arrived they found that the front door was open to the home. Felix Olmos, 22, and Tia Wells, 20, were taken into custody as they ran from the home. Olmos was booked into the West Valley Detention Center and Wells was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for burglary.
Wells was released on bail on Sunday night and has no court appearance scheduled at this time. Olmos remains in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Tuesday afternoon.
