ADELANTO – Two patients were injured as a result of a traffic collision on CA-395 and Colusa Road in the City of Adelanto Saturday morning.
At around 9:50 a.m. CHP and emergency medical personnel responded the report of a traffic collision with extrication. California Highway Patrol officer Aguayo told a 24/7 Headline News reporter that the taupe Nissan Sentra heading northbound and attempted to make an unsafe U-turn causing the collision with a northbound traveling red Dodge Ram.
One female was extricated from the Nissan Sentra and was transported by AMR to a local hospital the male truck driver was also transported by AMR to a local hospital. There were no other occupants in either vehicle and both vehicles were towed on flatbed tow trucks at approximately 10:45 a.m.
