YUCCA VALLEY – A Yucca Valley armed robbery suspect remains at large after robbing the Toda Moda Fashion Store in the Desert Hills Plaza Shopping center Friday evening. At around 7:48 p.m. Morongo Basin deputies responded to the report of an armed robbery at the store located at 57240 Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley.
Investigations into the incident revealed that a Hispanic man in his early-20’s entered the store wearing an olive green jacket and tan pants. He had a white bandana covering his face and was armed with a revolver when he demanded cash from the store employees. In fear for their safety the employees complied and the suspect fled the store in a black two-door sedan with an undisclosed amount of cash.
