LENWOOD – Two Lenwood men were arrested for the sexual assault of a runaway juvenile authorities said. On Friday, March 17, 2017, Barstow Deputies were assisting a Lenwood mother in locating her 15-year-old daughter who had run away.
The juvenile was located near Walnut Avenue and Jade Road in the City of Lenwood. Once located, allegations of the possible sexual assault were reported. An investigation took place through the night. Deputies learned that the juvenile was victimized by two me who she met in her neighborhood during the two-day period.
The suspects identified as Michael West, 22, and Justin Haverlock, 36, were both arrested and booked into the Barstow Jail for Lewd or Lascivious Acts with a minor. Both men are being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
