PALM SPRINGS – Palm Springs Police and Fire Department responded to the 1000 block of Via Altamira for the report of two men found motionless in a swimming pool at the location.
The incident was reported on Monday, August 20, 2018, at around 10:00 a.m. PSFD personnel determined that the men were dead on arrival. The cause of the death has not yet been determined but drug paraphernalia was found at the side of the pool. No foul play is suspect and it is unknown if drugs were a factor in their deaths. Authorities are also uncertain if the men resided at the home where they were located.
The Riverside County Coroner’s office will conduct an investigation in order to determine the cause of death. The identity of the men is being withheld so that family can first be notified.
