VICTORVILLE – One adult and three children escaped injury after a single-vehicle rollover collision on Tuesday afternoon.
At around 1:05 p.m. deputies from the Victorville station and emergency medical personnel responded to the report of a traffic collision on Hesperia Road just north of Green Tree Boulevard. When the first deputy arrived on scene the vehicle’s occupants had already self-extricated.
Through investigation, deputies learned that the 2005 Chevy SUV was traveling southbound, when for reasons still under investigation, the female driver lost control of the vehicle, hit a berm which caused the vehicle to overturn.
Victorville Sheriff’s Station spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez said that all of the occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision. A small area of southbound Hesperia Road was temporarily shut down as they awaited the tow trucks arrival to remove the vehicle and debris from the location.
