VICTORVILLE – A 20-year-old Victorville man was arrested for a robbery in the 16900 block of Grand Triassic Lane, officials said. The victim and the suspect, who had been communicating online regarding the sale of a PlayStation game system agreed to meet on Saturday afternoon. During the meeting, the suspect, Isaiah Wynn pushed the victim, grabbed the game system and fled the scene on foot.
Deputies responded to the scene and were directed to where the suspect was last seen. The suspect was located at a home less than a quarter-mile away on Grand Mammoth Place and was taken into custody. Wynn, a parolee was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for robbery and the violation of parole. He is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior court on Tuesday afternoon.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department urges anyone who is buying and/or selling online to take extra precautions. They encourage those who plan to meet with a buyer or seller, to meet in a public place and to never meet alone.
