HESPERIA – A Victor Valley Transit bus was involved in collision Friday, November 11, 2016 on Danbury Avenue and Arrowhead Lake Road.
Just after 9:30 a.m. deputies from the Hesperia Station responded to the collision involving a Dodge truck and a Victor Valley Transit Bus. When they arrived they located the vehicles, the Dodge occupied by only the driver who suffered minor injuries and the bus occupied by an uninjured driver and passenger.
Through investigation, deputies learned that the bus was parked in a westbound facing position on Danbury Avenue when it was struck from behind. The driver of the truck was transported by ground ambulance to the hospital for precautionary measures. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
