Victorville and Twin Peaks Women Raped During Dating Site Meetings

VICTORVILLE – Dating sites are becoming an increased cause for concern with recent developments.  The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department in a release Wednesday said that two women who both met a man on Plentyoffish.com were allegedly raped by the same Barstow man.

The first incident took place in October 2015 when a 19-year-old woman planned to meet the suspect, identified as 24-year-old Barstow resident Dionza Antwoine Bradford. The two communicated and he told her that he was in town and would like to “hang out”. The two went to a motel and Bradford according to Sheriff’s officials forcibly raped the woman.

Months later on June 8th detectives from the Twin Peaks station responded to the report of a rape that occurred on June 7th in the Running Springs area. The two also met on Plentyoffish.com and exchanged phone numbers. He also told the 18-year-old victim that he would be in the area and wanted to “hang out”.

The two met and on the way to his Barstow home the suspect, also identified as Bradford took the victim to a secluded area of Running Springs and forcibly raped her. He abandoned the victim at a gas station near Hwy 330 authorities said.

Detectives believe there could be other victims. If you believe you are a victim they are asking for you to make contact with your local police department.

Dionza Antwoine Bradford was arrested in Barstow on June 16, 2016 and is currently being held at the West Valley Detention Center. Bradford’s bail is set at $750,000.00.
