VICTORVILLE – The City of Victorville has closed several streets due to storm-related flooding on Thursday. The heavy rains have caused the roadways to become overly saturated which can lead to roadway hazards. The closures will remain until further notice.
The road closures are as follows:
Pebble Beach Drive – between Arrowhead Drive and Victoria Road
Pebble Beach Drive – between Arrowhead Drive and Hughes Road
Hughes Road – between Arrowhead Drive and Avalon Drive
Avalon Drive – between Hughes Road and Molino Drive
Signs are in place where the roads are closed and motorists are asked to use alternate routes. In addition, drivers should use extreme caution and never drive through standing water. Traffic is likely to be delayed due to the closures. Motorists should plan for the additional travel time.
