VICTORVILLE, Ca. – Two male suspects, a 14-year-old Camarillo boy and an 18-year-old Adelanto man were arrested for a strong armed robbery in the City of Victorville.
Just after 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, a woman was walking with her purse at the Victor Valley Town Center in the 17100 block of Hesperia Road when a male suspect pushed her to the ground and grabbed her purse. The suspect fled from the area and got into the passenger seat of a maroon Nissan Altima. Witnesses called 911 and deputies made contact with the victim and witnesses.
As deputies were patrolling the area of Hesperia Road and Batson PLace they located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle. The vehicle was occupied by the 14-year old male, from Camarillo, and a second male suspect, identified as Tyre Deshawn Clark, 18, of Adelanto, who was the driver. The purse was located in the vehicle with the suspects and was returned to the uninjured victim.
The 14-year old suspect was booked at High Desert Juvenile Detention Center for strong arm robbery. Clark was booked at High Desert Detention Center for strong arm robbery.
