VICTORVILLE – Last Thursday a 27-year-old woman got into a verbal altercation with her 28-year-old boyfriend, which led to an assault. Following the assault, the suspect/boyfriend Javier Santos, of Victorville prevented the woman from leaving the home for the next two days. The physical assault continued and two days later, on September 24th the victim was able to contact a family member who reported the situation to authorities.
Deputies from the Victorville Station responded to the home in the 12600 block of Bay Summit Way and forced entry into the home. Both the victim and the suspect were located. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries and Santos was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for kidnapping, false imprisonment, inflicting corporal injury on a co-habitant and violating a restraining order. He is being held in lieu of $275,000 bail.
