SAN BERNARINO, Ca. – A 31-year-old Victorville man was arrested for pimping and pandering a 19-year-old woman from a San Bernardino motel last week.
The investigation began when investigators located the online advertisement possibly advertising a juvenile victim for sex. It appeared she was involved in the commercialized sex industry. An undercover investigation was planned and the victim learned to be 19-years-old was rescued from the motel room and returned to her family. Evidence corroborating the suspicion was recovered from the motel room in the 600 block of Fairway Drive. In the room they found evidence corroborating their suspicion that the victim was involved in human trafficking. Also found was evidence connecting Kentae Isiah, as the pimping and pandering the victim from the motel room.
While investigators were still on scene with the victim, Isiah arrived at the location and was detained by Task Force members. He was ultimately transported to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Central Station for additional investigation and interview. Once investigators had completed their interview and investigation of Isiah, he was arrested and transported to San Bernardino Central Detention Center, where he was booked for Felony violations of Pimping and Pandering of an Adult. Isiah is currently being held in lieu of $1.5 million dollars bail. The victim was rescued, provided access to services and safely released to members of her family.
The San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force is made up of investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office, Ontario Police Department, Redlands Police Department, California State Parole, Office of Homeland Security and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
This investigation is ongoing and investigators believe there are other unidentified victims related to this case.
