VICTORVILLE – A 21-year-old Victorville man was arrested for the attempted murder of a 37-year-old male adult on Saturday afternoon. At around 2:02 p.m. deputies from the Victorville station responded to the report of an attempted murder behind a shopping center near Seventh Street and La Paz Drive.
While behind the shopping center, suspect Desmen Bentley confronted the man and stabbed him in the chest, arm, and back. Deputies arrived to find the victim who was bleeding and having breathing difficulties. The victim was airlifted to a trauma center for the treatment of his stab wounds. Bentley was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for attempted murder.
