Victorville Man Arrested for Stabbing His Stepfather to Death

VICTORVILLE – A 43-year-old Victorville man was arrested for the murder of his 52-year-old stepfather officials said.

On Thursday, June 28, 2018, at around 1:11 p.m. deputies responded to the 14600 block of Apache Drive in the City of Victorville for the report of a deceased man in the home. When deputies and emergency medical personnel arrived, they confirmed the male victim, identified as Ramon Diaz, was deceased. Due to the fact that Diaz appeared to have multiple stab wounds, Homicide Investigators were called to the scene. During the investigation, multiple family members were interviewed, including Armando Navarro (the victim’s stepson. Following the interview, Navarro was arrested for Murder.

Navarro was booked into the West Valley Detention Center and is being held without bail. He is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.
