VICTORVILLE, Ca, – A 29-year-old Victorville man flapped and punched his elderly grandmother and was detained after falling off the roof of the home later.
On Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at around 11:20 p.m., Kristipher Wain and his grandmother were involved in a verbal altercation in the 16100 block of Pamela Street. The 75-year-old grandmother told authorities that he had been drinking and was causing problems. Wain ran when deputies attempted to talk with him. He climbed onto the roof of the home, then attempting to jump onto the roof of a neighboring home, but the jump was unsuccessful, leaving Wain on the ground, where he was detained.
Wain was taken to the hospital as a precaution and was released and booked at the High Desert Detention Center for Elder Abuse. He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. The victim declined medical attention for her injuries.
