POMONA – Details are still unclear about a Pomona shooting that left a Victorville man critically injured Wednesday night. The shooting occurred in the 700 block of North Park Avenue in the City of Pomona, officials said.
Officers arrived to find the approximately 30-year-old man identified as Story McKenzie lying bleeding on the sidewalk. Emergency medical personnel arrived and the McKenzie was airlifted to a trauma hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported as a result of the shooting. Police have very few leads in the case and are asking anyone with information to please call 909-620-2085.
