RIVERSIDE – A 30-year-old Riverside man admitted to several vehicle thefts in the University of California Riverside area, authorities said. On June 23rd, the Riverside Police received the report of a vehicle burglary in progress at a UCR area apartment complex. The suspect was heard planning the theft of the victim’s vehicle and when confronted by the victim he fled the scene. Police set up a perimeter but the suspect was able to elude authorities.
