VICTORVILLE, Calif. – A 54-year-old Victorville woman was arrested for the assault of her daughter on Wednesday evening.
At around 6:30 p.m. Victorville Deputies responded to a home in the 15100 block of Kimberly for the report of an assault. When they arrived they learned that Hazel Marie Arnold was involved in a verbal altercation with her adult daughter and threw a plate at her. The plate missed hitting her daughter, so she picked up a large wooden stick and swung it toward her, again not making contact. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
The victim was in fear of Arnold. She was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon. She was booked at the West Valley Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. She is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Friday, March 1, 2019.
