HEMET, Calif. – A Hemet man was arrested after police found him in possession of drugs, stolen mail, and burglary tools on Wednesday evening.
At around 6:30 p.m., Hemet Police Crime Suppression Detectives were patrolling near Florida and Tahquitz Avenue when they noticed a black 2018 Jeep Compass with no front license plate. Detectives conducted a stop on the Jeep and discovered that Bradley Henry, the driver, was in possession of around .2 gram of heroin. He was arrested for the drug violation and the detectives searched the vehicle.
While searching the vehicle, they located a handmade mailbox master key, over 100 pieces of US mail, over 175 checks, credit cards, gift cards, California driver licenses, and drug paraphernalia. Following the discovery, detectives contacted the local Postal Inspector and informed him of their investigation. After speaking with the Postal Inspector, Henry was arrested for the drug violation, theft, and possession of burglary tools.
