Victorville Woman Wins $750,000 on California Lottery Scratcher

VICTORVILLE – Who would have thought you could become $750,000 richer by purchasing a California Lottery scratcher?   Geraldine Ray of   crosswordVictorville took the chance, and she just won the top prize of $750,000.  Ray, who asked for privacy from the California lottery officials, purchased a $10 Mystery Crossword Scratcher ticket that she purchased at the Chevron station located at 14796 La Paz Drive in Victorville.

“The $10 Mystery Crossword Scratchers are part of the Lottery’s continued effort to give out more prizes, create more winners and earn more money for public education,” California Lottery officials said in a news release. Even if you do not win, don’t toss that ticket because you still have a chance to win up to $25,000 as part of  their 2nd Chance Program. With the second chance program, players can win up to $25,000 in cash prizes Lottery officials said. Just enter your non-winning ticket on the website and you are entered into the weekly pool drawing, where $100,000 is given away each week.
