VICTORVILLE – Do you live near the Crossroads at 395 in Victorville? Do you love chicken wings? If your answer is yes, then you are in luck!
Wingstop, a classic 1930’s-1940’s decorated restaurant, which was founded in 1994 is coming soon to the now busy shopping center on Highway 395 just north of Palmdale Road. With over 10 wing flavors to choose from the super spicy “Atomic” to other non-spicy flavors, there is something for everyone. The location has a large outdoor patio and the signs were placed on the morning of Friday, September 9th.
Just a few short years ago options were slim as far as shopping, and dining in general area. Once Walmart, followed by several other stores and restaurants were opened, the memories of the old Cocky Bull Rib and Steak House that once sat on Highway 395 just north of Palmdale Road seemed to disappear.
Now Crossroads at 395 includes a Walmart, Walgreens, Autozone, and a Dollar Tree Store people can run in and grab most of their household needs. There are also fast food locations including McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Dominos Pizza, El Pollo Loco, and Panda Express. The is a Chevron gas station, Metro PCS, a Sally’s Beauty Supply, a Yogurt Shop and a hair salon.
According to city officials, an AT&T wireless store, and the Wingstop will occupy the small strip center to the east of Wendy’s and Taco Bell. There is a third adjoining suite which is still unoccupied.
A Les Schwab Tire Center is also planned to be built on the southeast corner of the shopping center near the El Pollo Loco restaurant.
The exact timeline for these is unknown, “Not only do we not have business licenses for the other two suites, we don’t have one for WingStop yet either!” said Director of Development for the City of Victorville, Chris Borchert.
