APPLE VALLEY – Are you looking to open your home to a dog, cat, or other small pet? The Apple Valley Animal Shelter is making it easy for you by cutting the costs until December 22nd. They are calling it a Year End Adoption Special and everyone is invited. Save a life and fill your own life with the love of a shelter pet. The cost to adopt an altered dog is only $25, an altered cat is only $10, an unaltered dog is $45, and an unaltered cat is $20. There are plenty of other pets available for adoption; most only $5 to adopt.
In addition to new adoptions, Apple Valley residents can get their existing pets microchipped for only $5. Late fees for expired licenses will be waived throughout the month of December 2016. Shelter hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Apple Valley Animal Shelter is located at 22131 Powhatan Road in the Town of Apple Valley.
