Yucaipa Man Arrested for Arranging to Meet with Teen Boy for Sex

YUCAIPA – A 37-year-old Yucaipa man was arrested for attempting to meet with a 14-year-old boy for sex.

Jason Williams was on social media and began chatting with someone he believed was a 14-year-old boy. The account that he was chatting with, was an undercover law enforcement account which is monitored by detectives. While chatting, Williams sent nude photos of himself to the decoy and arranged to pick him up. After picking him up, he planned to take him to a location in Yucaipa where the two could engage in sexual acts.

When Williams arrived, he was surprised that rather than the 14-year-old boy being there, there were detectives waiting to arrest him. “Detectives located a makeshift bed, as well as knives, and an ice pick type weapon in his vehicle, near the makeshift bed,” Sheriff’s officials said. Williams was arrested for Sending Harmful Matter to a Minor, Arranging to Meet Minor for Sexual Acts, and Meeting a Minor for Sexual Act. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Detectives have released Williams photo because they are concerned that he has met and engaged in sexual activity with other juvenile boys.
