ADELANTO- An Adelanto High School Student threatened a school security officer and was arrested on Thursday.
A 16-year-old male student at Adelanto High School was arrested on Thursday, October 6, 2016, for threatening a school security officer officials said. A Victor Valley Station deputy was contacted to assist a school security officer, who was reportedly threatened by a student. When the deputy arrived and made contact with the student, the student fled on foot and traveled in an eastward direction, toward Bradach Elementary School. Since this student had made threats to an officer, Bradach Elementary School was temporarily placed on lockdown.
The Sheriff deputy chased the student until the student was captured in a residential area near Bradach Elementary school. The student was taken into custody and was transported to High Desert Juvenile Detention Center where he will be booked.
