Victims of Yucaipa Thefts Sought Following the Arrest of Two Suspects

YUCAIPA – Yucaipa station deputies are seeking the owners for items found in the possession of a suspected burglar. Last Thursday, September 29, 2016, the City of Yucaipa’s Multiple Enforcement Team were patrolling the area of Yucaipa Boulevard and California Street. When in the area, deputies made contact with 25-year-old Anthony Camacho and 26-year-old Lucas Salazar, both from Yucaipa . Evidence of a crime, including stolen mail belonging to at least six victims and tools consistent with vehicle burglaries and thefts, were located in the possession of both Camacho and Salazar.
Both suspects were also found in possession of drug paraphernalia, officials said. Several items were also found in the possession of the suspects that authorities believe to be unreported stolen items. These items include a laptop and cell phones. Camacho and Salazar were arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for the possession of stolen property, the possession of burglary tools , and the possession of drug paraphernalia. The Multiple Enforcement Team is requesting assistance identifying victims of the stolen property pictured below. Anyone with information should contact Deputy Coillot (909)918-2305.
