LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The 23-year-old South Los Angeles woman who referred to herself as “Pretty Hoe” and “The Most Hated Hoe in L.A.” was sentenced to 15 years in prison for pimping juvenile girls.
The South Los Angeles woman whose real name is Melanie Denae Williams admitted to using the internet to solicit minors to engage in commercial sex acts. She was sentenced on Thursday, January 31, 2019, by a Federal Judge to the 15 years in prison and was ordered to pay restitution to her victims.
In November 2018, Williams pleaded guilty to one count of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion – an offense that carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years’ imprisonment. Court paperwork shows that Williams admitted to recruiting girls over social media. Williams admitted to ordering the victim to remove her clothes. Once her clothing was removed, Williams threw bleach on her and used a broomstick to beat her and threatened to kill her if she left. The victim was also forced to get William’s name tattooed on her face and confiscated her belongings, which included identity documents.
Wiliams not only recruited the two minors through the internet but she kept the money made by the minors for her own use. The affidavit also said that Williams posted videos on social media of her physically abuse the girls and used firearms to threaten them.
The investigation was conducted by the Los Angeles Regional Human Trafficking Task Force, which included agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office provided substantial assistance in the investigation and prosecution.
