ADELANTO – Whether you enjoy one day, three days, or even camp out at the Adelanto Grand Prix Motorcycle Races set for Friday, January 18, thru Sunday, January 20, for many Victor Valley residents, it is a must-attend event.
The event will be Round 1 of the Big 6 Grand Prix Series, all hosted by So Cal Motto Cross. Fifteen different racing classifications from beginners to pros are featured over the three-day event. The Grand Prize which will be awarded to the best Pro Rider is $11,000 – the largest win offered in the series. In addition to action-packed racing, attendees will be entertained by over 25 bands. Food, beer, and booths to shop in will be available for those needing a bite to eat or who are ready for shopping. Come back each day, for one day, or for the whole weekend.
Adelanto Stadium is located at 12000 Stadium Way in the City of Adelanto on Friday, January 18 at 12 noon and will resume at 7:30 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for children start at $5 and for adults are $10. Campsites on the property are available for RV’s and trailers for $15 for one night, or $40 for the entire weekend. These campsites are first come, first served. “This is affordable family fun, featuring riders of all ages. With over 2000 competitors, it is the biggest off-road racing competition in the country,” said Adelanto Mayor Gabriel Reyes.
