APPLE VALLEY – The Town of Apple Valley would like to alert those who will be traveling northbound on Apple Valley Road to use caution when approaching Yucca Loma Road this week.
The Southern California Edison project, installing underground conduits phase 2 is beginning reducing area traffic to a single lane. This will begin just before Yucca Loma Road and will be around the clock for around a week beginning Monday, February 13, 2017. Area contractors will be pouring concrete during the approximate 7-day period town officials said.
Access to businesses will remain during this time. On Tuesday, February 14, 2017, stop signs will be temporarily used at Yucca Loma and Apple Valley Roads while work is completed on traffic signals. The traffic signals will be complete and the normal use will resume on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Those with questions or concerns can call the Town of Apple Valley Engineering Department at (760)240-7000 extension 7013.
