VICTORVILLE, CA. – An Apple Valley woman was arrested for the abuse of a 72-year-old man in the City of Victorville.
On Friday, September 6, 2019, at around 12:04 a.m. deputies responded to the 13600 block of Second Avenue for the report of an elderly man left in his bed unattended for several days. When deputies arrived they found the man suffering from various serious health conditions.
Being left attended for the extended period of time, the elderly victim required medical attention. He was transported to the hospital.
Christina Gonzalez, 40, of Apple Valley, was booked into jail for causing harm to an elderly/dependent adult. On September 6, 2019, at 8:05 p.m., Gonzalez was bailed out of jail. She will be expected to appear in court for any scheduled court dates. It is unclear what Gonzalez’ relationship was to the victim.
