Arizona Man Arrested for the Sexual Abuse of 7-year-old Hesperia Girl

HESPERIA, CA. – A 38-year-old Arizona man was arrested for the sexual abuse of a 7-year-old Hesperia girl, authorities said.

On September 24, 2020, investigators began investigating sexual abuse allegations involving suspect, Mark Allen Mason. It was alleged that he molested the juvenile victim on multiple occasions at her home in the 8000 block of Primrose Avenue in the City of Hesperia. Evidence corroborating the allegations was collected leading to the arrest of Mason. He was booked at the West Valley Detention Center for PC 288(A)- Lewd or Lascivious Acts with a Child Under 14 and PC 288.7(B)- Oral Copulation of a Victim Under 10 years.

Authorities are releasing Mason’s booking photo because they believe that there may be other victims.
