VICTORVILLE, Ca. – An arrest has been made for the killing of a Victorville man who was shot outside of an apartment complex on Pebble Beach Drive.
Last week on September 14, 2019, at 7:16 p.m., the report of a possible traffic collision involving a motorcycle rider was made. Deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to the 16100 block of Pebble Beach Drive in the City of Victorville. When they arrived they learned that the motorcycle rider, later identified as 45-year-old Victorville resident, Shane Walker, had been shot. Walker died at the scene as a result of the shooting.
The suspect was not in the location but through investigation, David Wood, was identified as the suspect involved in the shooting. An arrest warrant was obtained for Wood’s arrest. On Friday, September 20, 2019, deputies arrested Wood in the 21800 block of Cherokee Avenue in the Town of Apple Valley home and he was booked at the West Valley Detention Center for Murder. He is being held in lieu of $1 million bail and is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.
