APPLE VALLEY – Detectives are asking for assistance from the public to help identify the suspect involved in an attempted murder on Sunday morning.
At around 10:18 a.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2018, an unidentified male showed up to a home in the 19300 block of Chuparosa Road reporting to the resident that someone had attempted to murder him in the desert area just north of the location. When deputies arrived they located the victim lying on the sidewalk suffering from a stab wound. Witnesses assisted the male victim until medical aid arrived a short time later. The victim was rushed to the hospital for the treatment of his injuries. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
