VICTORVILLE – Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify three suspects who were involved in a robbery at the Food 4 Less on La Paz Drive several months ago.
On March 12, 2018, Victorville station deputies responded to the location and learned that two male suspects and one female suspect loaded merchandise into a shopping cart. The troubled trio began to exit the store with the unpaid merchandise. The store security guard asked the three for their receipt. One of the male suspects removed a machete from his shorts and swung it towards the guard, striking him in the hand.The security sustained a hand laceration as a result.
All three suspects remain at large. The first suspect is described as a black male, around 25-years-old, 5’10” tall, with a black afro. The second suspect is a Hispanic female, around 5’4” tall with dark shoulder-length hair. The third suspect is described as a Hispanic or black male. Authorities believe that the suspect with the machete may possibly be the same suspect in recent robberies in Victorville.
