RIVERSIDE, Ca. – Authorities are looking for a suspect who stole around $500 from a caricature street artist at the Riverside Festival of Lights event. At around 11:50 p.m. on December 5, 2019, the victim was working when the suspect asked the victim for a caricature of himself. The victim agreed and created the caricature of the suspect. When the victim was done, the suspect grabbed the victim’s bag of money and fled on foot.
The suspect left the photo behind, which was created in his likeness, only exaggerated characteristics. The suspect was described as a Black man in his early 20’s, around 5’1” tall with average build. He had black hair and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a blue and red jacket with a white undershirt, black pants, and red hat.
