SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Authorities are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing elderly man who has dementia.
Cornelius Ponder, 80, was last seen on Friday, June 7, 2019, at around 7:30 a.m. at the Casa Linda Apartments in the 500 block of E. Weir Road in the City of San Bernardino. San Bernardino Police said that Mr. Ponder was possibly seen near Barton Road and Oakwood at around 10:30 a.m. Mr. Ponder has never been reported missing in the past and is not known to go missing.
Mr. Ponder is not familiar with the area and suffers from dementia. Mr Ponder is an Black man. He is 5’8” tall and weighs 130 pounds. He uses a silver cane to walk and was last seen wearing a military style hat, light-blue plaid shirt, and blue or black jeans.
