LAKE LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Homicide Investigators are asking for the public’s help to locate a suspect who allegedly murdered a 67-year-old man.
Carlos Marcelo Montes de Oca, aka Carlos Marcelo Morales and Salomon Mendoza Mazariegos, 67, both of Lake Los Angeles, were living in two separate recreational vehicles on the same property. The two lived on the property near the house on the 39400 block of 167th Street, where the shooting occurred during an argument on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. At around 8:40 p.m., the suspect, Carlos Marcelo Montes de Oca shot and killed Salomon Mendoza Mazariegos and fled the location on foot.
Carlos Marcelo Montes de Oca is a Hispanic man who is 47yrs-old, 5’11” tall, 175lbs, black hair, brown eyes. Montes de Oca frequents the Lancaster & Palmdale areas. He is considered armed and dangerous and anyone who sees him should not attempt to contact or detain the suspect.
