VICTORVILLE – Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspects who were involved in an attempted robbery.
On Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at around 12:40 p.m. , a black male adult and two black females went to the home depot located 15400 block of Roy Rogers Drive and attempted to walk out carrying merchandise that had not been paid for.
When approached by the store employees, the male brandished a handgun at the employee. The female dropped the merchandise prior to all three leaving the store. They fled westbound on Roy Rogers Drive in a black Jeep, possibly a Cherokee with yellow paper dealer plates. Patrol units searched the area, but did not locate the suspects or the suspect vehicle.
The male was described as 6’ tall, with a thin build. His hair is described as being in a long, afro type hairdo that was pulled back in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie and black basketball shorts. The female suspects were described as black female adults, heavy build, one was wearing a grey shirt and blue jeans, the second female was wearing a blue shirt. Authorities believe that two more black men were inside the Jeep.
