VICTORVILLE – The remains found in a cemented trash can at a Victorville home have been identified as a 47-year-old Victorville woman.
On Sunday, July 8, 2018, the shocking discovery was made at a home in the 15000 block of Sitting Bull Street in the City of Victorville. As a result of the discovery and the investigation, four arrests were made; Lori Rector, 57, and Jayson Weiss, 31, both of Victorville, for Murder, and Louis Chacon, 43, and Alphonso Lozano, 36, also both of Victorville, for Accessory to Murder. At the time of the finding, the remains had not yet been identified but authorities did believe that the suspects were friends to the woman, now identified as Judith Ornelas.
The motive in the killing or manner of death has still not been disclosed to the public by the Sheriff’s Coroner Division. The Coroner’s Division is attempting to identify the victim and determine the cause of death.
